Why Glorious Grace?
Glorious Grace was created from a desire to point people to Jesus Christ and the truth of God's Word. I believe that faith is not meant to be separated from everyday life. It is supposed to shape how we understand the world, raise our families, treat others, make decisions, and live each day.
Through Glorious Grace, I share Christian news, biblical truth, cultural commentary, and practical encouragement for holy living, with the hope of helping others grow in their faith and draw closer to Christ.
At the heart of everything published here is one simple truth: Jesus Christ is Lord, and His Word does not change.
The Woman Behind the Brand
Glorious Grace is independently created and written by one woman who was saved by grace through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is learning each day what it means to truly live out that faith.
My background is in journalism and writing, and I hold a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. For years, I have researched and written about the news and events shaping our world. Glorious Grace gives me the opportunity to continue doing that while also writing about the things closest to my heart—faith, family, biblical truth, holy living, homemaking, gardening, homeschooling, and the lessons God teaches us through ordinary life.
I don't have everything figured out, and I don't pretend to have all of the answers. Much of what I share comes from things I am learning, convictions God has placed on my heart, lessons from my own experiences and trials, and the ways He continues to refine me.
Glorious Grace is a reflection of that journey, with Christ at the center.
Where It Began
Glorious Grace began with a desire to magnify Jesus and encourage Christian families. Over time, that vision has grown into something broader. Today, I am rebuilding Glorious Grace as an independent Christian publication centered on Jesus, biblical truth, culture, and holy living.
As my own walk with Jesus has deepened, so has the purpose behind Glorious Grace. I have found myself looking more closely at my choices, my priorities, the culture around me, and even my own heart through the lens of Scripture.
Some of those lessons have been uncomfortable. Some have required me to admit I was wrong, while others have meant leaving behind things I once thought I would never give up. But through all of it, I have learned that Jesus is worth more than anything He asks us to leave behind.
Glorious Grace has grown alongside that journey, becoming a place where I can share what I am learning while pointing others toward Christ and the truth of His Word.
Even the name Glorious Grace carries a deeply personal meaning for me—one that is always close to my heart.
My Mission
My mission with Glorious Grace is to create a place where Christians can find truth, encouragement, and practical content without separating their faith from the rest of their lives.
Here you'll find Christian news and current events, biblical reflections and encouragement, content about family, discussions about culture and the issues affecting Christians today, homeschooling, gardening, food and homemaking, free Christian resources, and other aspects of pursuing a life centered on Christ.
The subjects may be different, but the foundation remains the same: God's Word is truth, and Jesus Christ is at the center of it all.
Jesus Is at the Center
Everything I publish begins and ends with Jesus. Glorious Grace isn't about presenting a perfect Christian life. It's about following a perfect Savior. Jesus met people where they were, but He loved them too much to leave them there. He called people to repentance, forgiveness, obedience, faith, and new life.
That's the kind of grace I want Glorious Grace to reflect—not a grace that ignores truth, but a grace that leads us to it.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
— John 8:32 KJV
My Approach to Scripture
I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for truth, faith, and how we are called to live. I do not believe Scripture should be reshaped to conform to culture, personal preference, or what is popular.
When quoting Scripture on Glorious Grace, I primarily use the King James Version (KJV) and the New International Version (NIV). I appreciate the beauty and richness of the KJV as well as the clarity and accessibility of the NIV, something I was especially grateful for during my first few years of walking with Jesus. Regardless of the translation, my desire is always to handle God's Word faithfully and never change its meaning to fit a message.
I also take seriously what Scripture teaches concerning the roles of men and women within the church. In 1 Timothy 2:12, Paul writes that a woman is not to teach or exercise authority over a man. I believe this passage teaches that women are not called to hold spiritual teaching authority over men within the church, and I desire to honor that conviction through Glorious Grace. If I truly believe that Scripture is the Word of God, then I cannot simply pick and choose which passages I will follow based on what I prefer or what the culture accepts. God's Word is the authority, and it is my responsibility to submit to it—even when doing so is difficult or unpopular.
At the same time, I do not believe this means women are forbidden from sharing biblical truth with men, proclaiming the gospel, offering encouragement, or helping someone understand Scripture. Priscilla is a prime example of this. Alongside Aquila, she took Apollos aside and “expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly” (Acts 18:26 KJV). Jesus also commanded His followers to go and make disciples, sharing the good news of the gospel with others.
In fact, I have had opportunities to encourage men in their walk with Jesus and help those who were seeking to understand their faith more deeply. I am grateful for every opportunity God gives me to point someone toward Christ and His Word.
If you are a man—especially someone new in your walk with Jesus—and you have a question about something I have written or shared, please feel free to reach out. I am happy to discuss Scripture, share what I understand from God's Word, and point you toward biblical resources.
My desire is not to assume a position of spiritual authority that I believe Scripture has not given me, but neither will I remain silent about the gospel Christ has commanded His followers to share.
Scripture is the authority here—not me.
Why Holy Living?
Holy living isn't about pretending to be perfect or believing we can earn salvation through good behavior and good works. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, but that grace changes us.
Following Jesus means surrendering our old ways and allowing Him to transform our hearts, our priorities, our choices, and the way we live.
Scripture calls believers to be set apart—not because we are better than the world around us, but because we belong to Him.
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
— 1 Peter 1:15–16 KJV
That calling is at the heart of Glorious Grace.
Be an Unashamed Voice in the Wilderness™
I believe that Christians are called to be unashamed of the Gospel and willing to stand on the truth of God's Word, even when that truth is uncomfortable or unpopular. As Paul wrote, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ” (Romans 1:16 KJV).
That's the heart behind a message that has become part of the mission of Glorious Grace:
BE AN UNASHAMED VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS™
The message is His. We're the messengers.™
Those words represent something much bigger to me than a slogan. They are a reminder that the message we carry does not belong to us. We don't get to rewrite God's Word to make it more acceptable to the world around us. Our responsibility is to faithfully share what He has given us and continually point people back to Jesus Christ.
That conviction shapes the kind of content I want to create through Glorious Grace—including a willingness to address biblical truths that may challenge us, convict us, or go against what the culture tells us. Truth doesn't change simply because it becomes uncomfortable or unpopular. God's Word remains the standard.
It's also what eventually led me to create Christian apparel.
I had grown tired of seeing many of the same safe, familiar messages on Christian shirts while some of the harder truths of Scripture were rarely represented.
I originally began creating shirts for myself—messages rooted in biblical truths I wanted to wear boldly. Some received compliments. Others received pushback, but both reactions showed me something: a shirt can start a conversation and possibly change one person's life.
That eventually led me to make those designs available through Glorious Grace. The goal isn't controversy for the sake of controversy. It's another way to put biblical truth into the world and perhaps cause someone to stop, think, ask a question, or open God's Word for themselves.
Whether through an article, a conversation, a resource, a shirt, or simply sharing the Gospel with someone God places in our path, the purpose remains the same: Point people to Jesus. Speak the truth. Don't be ashamed of the Gospel.
BE AN UNASHAMED VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS™
The message is His. We're the messengers.™
My Hope for You
My greatest hope is simple. Whether you arrive here because of a news story, an article about faith, a family resource, a recipe, a garden post, a free printable, or even a T-shirt, I hope something here encourages you to seek Jesus more deeply and open God's Word for yourself.
Don't simply take my word—or anyone else's—for something just because we wrote it or said it.
Go to Scripture. Pray. Test what you hear against God's Word. Seek Christ for yourself.
My hope is that something you read, see, or encounter through Glorious Grace might plant a seed, strengthen your faith, challenge you to examine something more closely, or encourage you to share the truth with someone else because sometimes one article, one conversation, one Scripture, or even one message on a shirt can reach one person—and one person's life matters.
And above everything else, remember that Christianity is ultimately not about a website, a writer, a denomination, a product, or a platform.
It is all about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
May everything shared through Glorious Grace ultimately point back to Him.
